In the tradition of the Impressionists, Colorado artist Ivy Delon endeavors to evoke the ethereal beauty of nature in all its glorious transition. Her paintings are in galleries and collections nationwide, including The Portland Hilton, Syntex Corporation and Bloomin’ Flower Cards.
Ms. Delon graduated from the Art Institute of Colorado in 1977, and worked as a graphic designer for five years. It wasn’t until 1982, on a summer painting expedition in Maine, that she decided to devote herself fully to the canvas, palette and brush. She has been painting ever since. Ivy resides, paints and teaches in her home studio in Littleton, Colorado. |
